kia hosted the motor press guild (mpg) for lunch with presentations by tom loveless, vice president, sales and micheal sprague, vice president, marketing.
--kia has been setting sales records and attributes much success to design. the "tiger nose grille" characterizes their front-end look.
--innovation. design, technology. personable. connected.....
all contribute to their branding of the kia image.
--news for the day was driving the new optima hybrid due in major coastal markets in June 2011. drove like a hybrid, interior and features of a luxury car. msrp was announced to be $26,500.
--on display from kia design was the kv-7 concept presented at the new york auto show.
